CVS DEAL!

I went to CVS and let me tell you... I forgot how much I loved that store. I walked out with almost 200 dollars worth of products and only paid 60 bucks saving 69 percent! Then I headed on over to Dollar General and got a few deals there too! Here is what I got...

Let's break it down.
In order to get all of these products for the least money out of pocket, I did what is called rolling. At CVS you will earn ECBS when you make certain purchases. These ECBS work just like cash. This means that when you get 10 dollars in ECBS back after a transaction is over, you can roll it in the next transaction. Use it just like you would cash, and earn more!

Check it out...
Transaction 1-
I purchased 2 paparazzi which are normally 3 dollars each but are on sale for 2/5. When you purchase two of them you get 4 dollars back in ECBS! I also purchased 1 Crest toothpaste which is on sale for 3 dollars (normally 4.59). There is a 2 dollar digital coupon (also known as DQ) and when you purchase 1 Crest you get 1 ECB back!
I paid 6 dollars total for the transaction and I got 5 ECBS back to use on the next transaction.

Transaction 2-
I purchased 2 Rimmel products. They were both eyeliners, one was 4.69 and the other was 6.79. I then use 2 of the 2/1 Rimmel coupons that we have as well as the 5 ECBS that I used on the previous transaction and 1 ECB that I already had. My total was 1.48 and I received 5 ECBS back for the next transaction.

Transaction 3-
I purchased 2 Burts Bees toothpaste normally 6.49 each, on sale for 4.99. I also had 2 2/1 coupons that I used to pay for them as well as 5 ECBS from the last transaction. I ended up paying 98 cents before tax and got back 4 ECBS.

Transaction 4-
I purchase 2 wet and wild products. These can be any two products but I purchased what I needed. A brow pencil for 2.89 and loose powder for 7.99. I used the 4 ECBS from the previous transaction and paid 6.88 before tax but I got back 7 ECBS!

Transaction 5-
I purchased 1 Milani product for 9.99. The deal is that if you purchase a Milani product for 10 dollars you get 7 ECBS! A product for 9.99 qualifies. So I used my 7 ECBS from the last transaction, paid 2.99 before tax and got 7 ECBS back for the next transaction!

Transaction 6-
I purchased 2 Gillette Mach razors for 9.99 each. I used 2 of the 4/1 coupons that we have as well as the 7 ECBS that I earned in the previous transaction. I paid 4.98 before tax and I received 8 ECBS back!

Transaction 7-
I purchased 2 tide pods, 16 count at 4.94 each. 2 6=9 viva paper towels originally 13.99 marked down to 8.49 and 1 Persil  40 oz laundry detergent originally 8.29 marked down to 5.99. I used 1 3/1 tide pod DQ, one 3/1 tide pods paper coupon (PQ) and one 2/1 Persil PQ. I also used the 8 ECBS from the last transaction. I paid 16.85 before tax and I got back 10 ECBS!

Transaction 8-
I purchased to Nexxus Mousse for 14.79 each. I used 2 of the 5/1 coupons and the 10 ECBS from the previous transaction. I paid 9.58 before tax and received 10 ECBS to roll on the final transaction.
Transaction 9-
This was my last planned transaction. (Even though I did 10. I'll tell you about that in a minute. )
I purchased 1 Cottonelle 18 double roll normally 15.99 on sale for 10.49 and 1 Cottonelle 9 mega roll normally 15.99 on sale for 10.49. I use one digital coupon for 5 off of 2 Cottonelle products as well as the 10 ECBS that I earned in the last transaction. I paid 5.98 before tax and received 5 ECBS!

Transaction 10-
Now I said that I was only going to do 9 transactions but my son was with me and he found Scrunciis on sale for 99 cents. My daughter is obsessed with them. So we bought 5 three packs for her. The total was 4.95 plus tax and I used the 5 ECBS from the last transaction to pay for them making them completely FREE!

In total from CVS I got 194.43 worth of product and I paid only 60.51 for a total savings of 69%! Can't wait to hit CVS next week!
