$687.25 WORTH OF PRODUCT FOR JUST $22.15

Yes, you read that right. Today I was able to purchase 687.25 dollars worth of product and I only paid 22.15 dollars before tax!

This is what I purchased:
At CVS I purchased 1 33.8 ounce bottle of Crest mouthwash. This is on sale for 4.99 and if you purchase 1 you get 2 ECBs back.

I purchased 19 Sundown Organic vitamins. These are normally 19.99 and they are on sale for 9.99!
I used a 10 dollar off coupon making them FREE!

I did this in separate transactions so it took a little bit of time but was completely worth it. With just these vitamins, I saved 379.81. Now there is a bit of an issue but CVS is great about handling problems. Because the value of the coupon is higher than the price of the item the computer does not want to take it. I had my cashier adjust the price of each vitamin up to 10 dollars so that my coupon would scan with no problems.

The next transactions I did were for the Sundown Naturals. These vitamins vary in price but they are on sale for BOGO. When CVS has a BOGO sale, you can use a coupon on the free item in order to lower your out of pocket. Now I had two different coupons for this.

I had 10  5/1 coupons and 10 4/1 coupons.

I purchased 20 bottles of the Sundown Naturals and used all of my coupons as well as the 10 ECBs that I got from a survey CVS sent me this week. I also purchased the mouthwash in with the vitamin transactions so that 4.99 is included in this price. I paid 11.45 before tax and I received 2 ECBs for the mouth wash!

Next, I headed over to my favorite Dollar General because if you do not know, they are having a 50% off clearance event. This means that all of the items that were already marked clearance are another 50 percent off. I spent a few minutes scanning a couple of items. I limited myself to 10 dollars because I just don't feel like the savings is there at DG like it is at CVS and other stores.

So, this is everything that I purchased:
And my receipt

So before the sale or coupons, the total would have been 63.78 before tax. After the 50 percent off sale and my coupons, I paid 10.70 before tax!

It is important to know that there are always issues at Dollar General when it comes to coupons and there are always issues when it comes to the 50 percent off sales. However, you can like I have, find a store that is focused on customer service and willing to help you out.

You should also use your Dollar General app while you are in the store to scan the items that are on clearance and see if you have a digital coupon for them! If you look at my receipt you will see that I had a few digital coupons apply. You will also see that there is a store discount applied. I added it up and this is apparently a 3/15 store coupon that I did not even know I had on my account! So you never know you might just save more than you thought you would.

All together. I saved 664.72 for the day. I paid 22.15 OOP which made each item that I purchased only 38 cents! I saved 97%! Can't wait until tomorrow because you know I'm an Everyday Couponer!
