I did not do a ton at CVS this week but I still killed it! I paid 29.93 for 153.89 worth of products saving 81 percent! Before we get into the breakdowns it is important to note that I did have 8 dollars in ECBS that I earned last week and I signed up for the CVS care pass which gave me another 10 ECBS. We'll go over the care pass in a later post.
Transaction 1- 2 Colgate regularly 4.29 on sale for 3.49. I had a 1 .50/1 digital coupon that I used. I also purchased 1 Revlon Lip Tint at 9.99. which I had a 5/1 CRT for.
I paid with the 5 dollar CRT, the digital coupon, and 8.00 in ECB as well as 3.47 OOP. I saved 15.10 or 81 percent and I received 8 ECBS back!
Transaction 2- I purchased 3 Aquafor lotions at 6.99 each. I used 3 2/1 coupons from last week's inserts as well as the 8 ECBS I earned in the last transaction. I paid 6.97 before tax, saving 14 dollars or 67% and received 10 ECBS
Transaction 3- I purchased 6 Pantene at 3 for 12 so 24 dollars as well as 2 head and shoulders on sale for 2 for 12. My total was 36 dollars. I used 2 of the 5/3 Pantene coupons as well as 1 of the 3/2 head and shoulders coupons. This is where I signed up for the Care Pass. I received 10 ECBS for signing up costing me 0 for the first month. As I stated earlier we will talk about the benefits of the Care Pass later.
My total was 36 dollars before tax, after my coupons, the 10 ECBS from the previous transaction and 10 ECBS I received for the Care Pass I paid 3.00 before tax, saved 40.92 or 93%! I also received 10 ECBS back!
Transaction 4- I purchased 2 CoverGirl mascara, one for 6.49 and one for 8.49. I used 2 2/1 CoverGirl mascara coupons. I also purchased 1 Loreal Shampoo and 1 conditioner. I used a 3/2 Loreal coupon as well as the 3/2 CRT that is printing at the CVS Redbox. I used a total of 13 dollars in ECBS and I received 5 dollars back.
Transaction 5- I purchased 1 Almay foundation at 13.99. I had a 4/1 Almay product CRT and used my 5 ECBS from the last transaction. I paid 4.99 OOP before tax and I received 4 ECBS back.
Transaction 6- I had to get me some more Pop-arazzi nail polish. It is on sale 2/5 and when you buy 2 you get a 4 dollar ECB. So I purchased 2, used my 4 ECB from the last transaction and paid 1 dollar OOP. I also got 4 ECBS back.
My total OOP at CVS was 19.43 and I walked out with 4 ECBS for next week. On top of that, I have 9 ECBS on my card, from earning Beauty Bucks just for making these purchases! SO I paid 19.43 and walked away with 13.00 in ECBS to start next week's deals!
Next, I headed to DG to see what I could do.
I purchased:
1 Tresemme conditioner at 5.00and used a 1.50/1 coupon
2 vaseline lotions at 3.75 and used 2 2/1 coupons
2 suave body was at 2 and used 2 .75/1 coupons
1 St. Ives face scrub at 4.50 and used a 1/1 coupon
1 St. Ives lotion at 4.50 and used a 1/1 coupon
My total was 25.50 before coupons. 4 dollars was instantly taken off because of the 2 dollar instant savings deal that is going on this week. And then after all of my coupons were applied I paid 10.50 You could lower your OOP by not getting the St. Ives and then only pay 3.50 before tax.
