Kroger Mega Event

There are a few great deals this week at Kroger that you do not want to miss.  I did not do a lot of deals with this mega event simply because there were not a lot of deals that matched with current coupons.

However, there were a few deals that I was not going to pass up.

This was the first deal that I grabbed. There is currently a Buy 5 Save 5 Mega Event going on. This means that when you purchase 5 items that are included in the Mega Event, you will save 1 dollar off of the price of each item purchased. 

The Dr. Pepper is normally 3.99 per 6 pack. It is on sale for 2.99. It is also included in the Mega Event which brought the price down to 1.99 per 6 pack which is a really good price. However, they also had 1/2 peelies attached to them which brought the price down to 1.49 per 6 pack. I can't even purchase 1 Dr. Pepper for that price so we grabbed them. You can only use 5 like coupons at Kroger so we grabbed 5 with the peelies on them and 5 without. Since we do not drink a ton of soda, these were added to the stockpile to be used as treats!

The only other deal that I focused on was the Herbal Essence Shampoo and Conditioner. These are normally 3.99 on sale for 2.99. They are also part of the Mega Event which brought the price down to 1.99. We have paper coupons for 2/2 which brought the price down to 99 cents per bottle! There is a limit of 2 per household per day for the coupons. So I grabbed 2 sets of shampoo and conditioner as did the person that I was with. 

That's really the only Mega Event items that we took advantage of this time. But that does not mean that you won't find something that your family needs that is included in the sale. Head over to Kroger and see what deals you can find.
